Black Friday is the paradise of all the things that you don’t need to survive but so well sold. All those dazzling discounts make you lose your sense of direction and suddenly to feel the urge to buy and buy those nasty and so “absurdly” reduced products. Still, for your budget sake you have to take in consideration that Cyber Monday, Christmas sales and even the New Years ones will come; so please keep calm and shop wisely.
In our opinion, here are some products that can wait for some other discounts:
~ Toys – about 2 weeks before Christmas you might find the same toys with big class discounts.
~ Brand-Name HDTVs – manufacturers look in December to clear their stock for the new year’s models to take the relay race so this month should be a wiser choice.
~ DSLR Cameras – in the soon to come year they will be replaced by the new line and February should be the month when this ones get “old” so on sale.
~ Winter Apparel – choose January for this kind of shopping … clearances will go crazy. Most stores put their coats, hats, scarves and flannel pajamas on sale with discounts on big-name brands of up to 70% in January to make room for their spring collections.
~ Exercise Equipment – try to be oriented for December or January for more options… and then go and do some work out for your health!
~ Christmas Decoration – try to resist the temptation, it’s hard but you can do this! Soon, more likely closer to Christmas, you will reach better deals.
~ Jewelry and watches are as good in pricing as near Valentine’s Day, so keep calm. It could be a great gift for her/him in another budget area.
~ Bedding and blankets – it’s smarter to wait for “White Sales” form January and February.
~ International Airfare – maybe you will have more to save if you wait until New Year or even the first two months of the new year.
Try to do some research before you make your choices on Black Friday, stay focused on your list and have some backups in case anything goes wrong, like for example stock could run out.
It’s not all so black as it’s not all so white in winter holidays, keep your mind on what matters most, your happiness and your family’s smiles and enjoy! Have a happily colored Friday!
